The Certified Medical Assistant Exam

After students complete their training programs, they will then need to complete a 200-question written exam for them to become certified.  These certification exams are administered by the American Association of Medical Assistants (http://www.aama-ntl.org/).  However, before people can take the exam, they must meet the following requirements first.

*Completion of an Approved CMA Program/Transcripts
*Completed Examination Application
*Examination Fee
*CPR Certification
*Valid Photo ID
*Appointment Scheduling Permit (Available on the Association’s Website)
*Current Email Address
